Luxury Watches at Low Prices

luxury watches are the way to go, when it comes to feeling good about what you wear and what you look like, and speaking of something a little less than luxurious, I guess my favorite watch was my old Swiss Seamaster. My grandparents gave it to me years ago, when I was a teenager. It was a black automatic-wind nautical model that was good to a certain depth underwater. But it finally stopped working, probably because it needs cleaned, and for an Omega, that can be expensive. I think it would cost at least $100 to have it cleaned, and that is with a service that is not authorized by Omega.

I have heard great things about Tag Heuer and Cartier watches, but right now I wear a cheap Timex when I am hiking, and the rest of the time I wear a no-name watch manufactured in Hong Kong but with Japanese parts. I wear it with a Zuni Indian inlaid watchband — turquoise, coral, onyx, and mother of pearl.

I also have another Swiss watch. I forget the brand. But the battery ran down and now I’m not sure where I put the watch. I’ll find it someday.

Right now I would love to buy a Movado. They cost around $1000 or more, but I have found them prices around $600 or less on www.thewatchery.com. Yeah, I’d like a pure gold Movado!
